Classroom: The most common meeting format, this layout includes tables for participants and presenters to comfortably keep meeting materials organized. For note-taking purposes, this is a convenient layout for larger presentations and lectures.
Banquet: This format is best suited for events that include meals and those involving small group discussions or break out sessions. A five-foot round table seats eight people comfortably, and a six-foot round table seats ten people comfortably.
Theatre: Generally appropriate for large group discussions, presentations, and lectures. This format is convenient for welcome sessions and/or prior to small group discussion, hands-on trainings, or role-playing scenarios because chairs can be easily cleared or moved for small group discussion.
